The …

next chapter starts now

… let’s write it together.

🌿 Welcome to the next chapter of Supernatural News

This newsletter began in 2015 with less than 100 subscribers. (It was November 16th to be exact, and if you want to see progress, check out some of the very first deliveries here.) Back then, it was a single monthly send and called the RX Newsletter because I hadn’t yet named Supernatural.

The format was simple. All text, recurring categories, and links to my favorite resources, recommendations, rabbit holes, and related. It was, and still is, one of the single most popular things I’ve ever done. People loved Supernatural News. And, I loved creating it. The community grew.

Over time, we got fancier and moved from TinyLetter to Mailchimp, we added imagery and started sending several emails a month. I expanded the content to include updates from our cafe, online shop, new product launches, classes and events, new videos, articles, and podcasts on our website … all things you know because you’ve been here all along. But, the essence of at least one monthly email remained the same: My sharing my personal and professional insights and inquiries with you. The community grew.

Today, I’m writing to you from our new platform, Substack. There is some more newness too, which I’ve outlined below. What will remain the same though, are the roots of this publication. In the coming months, I’ll be doubling down on bringing you into my inner circle — just like the old days, just like yesterday. Expect all of the herbal intel, news, curiosities, and inspiration you’ve come to trust, plus even more ways to hook into this community, which continues to grow.

Take a look at the delivery details below, consider becoming a paying subscriber for special access & features, and look forward to the fresh take — I know most definitely am.

With gratitude,

Rachelle

Supernatural News | new delivery details

  • About twice per month: Supernatural News emails with updates from us, insights from the industry, and resources for herbalism-informed living just like you’ve been receiving for the last several years.

  • About twice per month: Field Notes.* These emails include personal, timely recommendations about what I’m digging into lately — from herbs and supplements in my practice, to intriguing health news, book recommendations, recipes, discounts, and anything else I’m into or you’re asking for. The first edition will be delivered later this week.

  • About three times per month: Ask the Herbalist Podcast.* This is our ~60 minute podcast where I answer your questions about absolutely anything. This segment has been running since May 2022! You can find the archive of video episodes here, and the new audio-only sessions here. In order to submit questions for these episodes, you’ll need to become a paying subscriber.

*Field Notes and Ask the Herbalist are for paying subscribers. Subscriptions are currently $7/month or $80/year. You can certainly remain on the free list, where you’ll receive the regularly scheduled emails you already know well. When you’re ready to join the rest of us in the weeds, I’ll be thrilled to have you.

Thank you so very much for being here. Supernatural exists because you are. ♾️

If you like this or know someone who might, give it life by sharing.
